20 tows by Graham & Larry.

Wednesday’s pilots found very spotty thermals but 4 flights exceeded and hour and one was over 3 hours in our K21.  Flights to/from Luray & Buena Vista.

Sunday was an absolutely perfect weather day to be outside.  Overcast in AM but that burned off before noon.  Temperature around 68, light & variable surface winds.  Lots of members and guests enjoyed the tents, food, drinks and camaraderie.

Saturday was a perfect day to be at the airport. There were three commercial sightseeing rides.

Sunday had fewer flights but lift improved by mid afternoon allowing flights of 1+ hours to 9K.

Monday’s wind was strong and turbulent at low altitude. Two flights stayed up at least an hour and at altitudes of 6.7 and 7K.

Please remember to take your aviation publications to someplace other than the landfill.
