About SVS
Welcome to Shenandoah Valley Soaring, a glider club that operates at the Eagle's Nest Airport just west of the Shenandoah Valley town of Waynesboro, VA. The club has over 50 members, and its equipment includes a 235hp Piper Pawnee tow plane, a Schweizer 2-33 and an LET L23 Super Blanik. SVS operates on flyable weekends, all year round, and on weekdays through special arrangement.

Visitors are always welcome! Sightseeing flights with one of our club's commercial rated pilots can be arranged, and gift certificates are available. Eagle's Nest has excellent thermal and wave flying conditions, and several members routinely make cross-country flights around the Shenandoah Valley.
