We are the Shenandoah Valley Soaring Club!Our group of 40+ members soars over the Blue Ridge mountains and Rockfish Valley in classic and state of the art gliders, harnessing the power of nature to sustain our flights. We always welcome new members interested in joining us in the wonderful world of flight.

Flight OperationsFlight Operations — We operate every flyable (weather permitting) weekend, as well as other days. Members enjoy excellent soaring, and pilots already holding a certificate can often add a glider rating with the club. Curious what it takes to get started? Fly With Us!
