The aircraft we fly
We currently have 2 primary two-place trainers (2 SGS 2-33), one advanced two-place trainer (ASK-21), one single seat glider (SGS 1-26D), and one Piper Pawnee towplane. Below are pictures and information on the planes.
Schweizer SGS 2-33SVS owns two SGS 2-33 gliders: 3619T and "Yellow Bird". These gliders are used for training students.

Schleicher ASK 21New from the factory in November, 2010, ASK-21 Tail Number 747SV...What a beauty! Its superior glide ratio and all fiberglass construction make it a popular choice.
Piper Pawnee 235This is our "tug" (our Tow Plane). In a former life it was a crop duster. Notice the long nose? Most of that is not engine but empty hopper where spay mixtures were carried.

Schweizer SGS 1-26This is our single seat glider used by club members to polish their soaring skills. Sleek as it looks it is still classified as a primary trainer so students are able to "graduate" to it relatively quickly after their solo flight.
